Andrews Wellness Center strongly promotes a positive learning environment for college students to expand their minds, learn, and apply skills in the field of health and wellness. This is an opportunity for a hands-on experience in the care of our patients in one or more clinical areas within the practice. Specifically in the field of chiropractic care, interns will learn and have the opportunity to implement care to patients in one or more of the following areas: health administration, patient advocacy & marketing, or clinical.
Health Administration: Scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, taking payments, updating patient information, coding, billing, AR follow-up, and other tasks.
Patient Advocacy & Marketing: Advocating for new and all patients, marketing, public relations, customer experience and social media.
Clinical: Taking patients to adjustment rooms, facilitating physiotherapy, assisting Dr. Andrews, and other tasks.
